Introduction

Baby Boomers, the generation fuelling the growth of the natural health care market not only want to feel young and stay healthy longer, they also want to look younger. The latest trends in beauty are moving towards less invasive treatments and towards products termed nutri-cosmetics. But these products don't just appeal to Baby Boomers- young and old are testing the benefits of nutri-cosmetics.

Nutri-cosmetics are typically foods and drinks fortified with active ingredients that promise anti-aging and beautifying benefits. "Beauty from within" products blur the lines between foods, cosmetics and supplements.
